Emma Stone on Interview Mag September 2012 Issue

Weeks back, I posted some of the covers of the known fashion magazine for their September Issue. We've got Gaga, Katy, Gwen and Vicky for Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar and Glamour, respectively. And this came a little delayed. Since I am such a big fan, to the point that I even volunteer myself to be her soul sister, I'm making this post.

Emma Stone is on the cover of USA's Interview Magazine for the month of September.

The actress is looking seductive on the cover photographed by Mikael Jansson.

She shares her inspiration as an actress and expressed her desire to be a kind of actor who can pull out humor out of the dramatic moments.

Check out some of her shots!

To know more about her cover story, check out NY Daily News and grab a copy once out in your favorite stands.

Reds, Blues and Greens

I'm scared to death to show off my style in public. I mean, I love dressing up but when people start to notice it, I automatically turn into a ball of insecurity. That's pretty weird. But then I remember, I live not to prove anything to anybody, so I'll show it anyway. Haha.

One more thing, I 'm an amateur when it comes to this thing because of my lack of equipment. All I have are my PC, my iPhone and internet connection. I don't have cutting edge camera or a wide collection of clothes, so I feel like I can't compete with those who are in the zone right now. Well, I guess everyone has a humble beginning, so I'll start from here.

How should I introduce this?

*coughs, coughs* People, this is how I dress outside home..

Basically , I love reds, blues and greens. The basics and the plaids. The photos are kinda crappy due to the limited resolution of my iPhone cam. But there, I hope I could invest for a nice camera soon and come up with better shots.

Dressing up makes me feel good, the same feeling I get whenever I blog so I will continue doing both as long as I can.

If you reach this part, THANK YOU! See you next time! xo:)

DIY Bermuda Shorts

You know what they say, "If you ain't got no money, take your broke ass home." I say, "Sure, I'll do it myself!"

I tried to organized my cabinet this week because it's starting to look like a dump site of clothes. While doing that, I spotted my old jeans which I last wore in high school so I thought of repairing and turning them to Bermuda shorts. I did that as if its summer here in Manila, but who cares!

Here are my outputs! My "DIY shorts".

So what I did was, basically, cut the pants to my desired length. Since my pants were a little baggy, I cut the hem on the inner side; including the crotch area. I folded and pinned the side I cut up to the crotch. Then, I hand-sew it, which is the most difficult part (since I don't have a machine). I folded the bottom part and added those studs to hold them and make it a little flashy.

This one was fresh out of the oven. I just finished it right before I post this entry. I pretty much did the same steps I took with the first one.

Voila! I have, well not really new, but reconstructed items on my closet without spending a peso. All you need is a handful of creativity, resourcefulness and patience.

And one more thing I like about chopping off old pants are the extra fabrics. Now I have raw materials that I can use to construct another DIY stuff, probably a pouch or a bag. That's something you should watch out for.

If you reach this part, thank you for reading. See you next time!
